Manhunting Manhunt 2

Would you believe that almost a month since the game passed rating standards and was released - people are still campaigning against Manhunt 2. Just enough publicity the game needs to give it a sharp boost in the sales department.

A group of four US senators consisting of Joe Lieberman, Sam Brownback, Evan Bayh and Hillary Clinton have called for the controversial snuff 'em up to be rated an AO as opposed to it's current rating of M.

They wrote to the ESRB:

‘We ask your consideration of whether it is time to review the robustness, reliability and repeatability of your ratings process, particularly for this genre of 'ultraviolent' video games and the advances in game controllers. We have consistently urged parents to pay attention to the ESRB rating system. We must ensure that parents can rely on the consistency and accuracy of those ratings’

It's funny how films like Hostel don't quite cause the same level of uproar isn't it?

Movies shouldn't be compared to video games as you just sit and watch movies and you interact with video games.

I bought Manhunt 2 specifically becuase of all the hype. Like back in the 80s with all the hype over lyrics and music it just drove people to buy it. Ive played the game completely and its over hyped. This game doesnt even come close to a AO rating. and MOVIES are more graphic
