New Game Planned for WiiWare Channel
Newly-formed Medaverse Studios announces Gravitronix for Wii.
Medaverse Studios, a fledgling New Hampshire-based game design group, has said it has been licensed as an official Nintendo Wii developer and plans to create a title for distribution over the upcoming WiiWare service.
The game, Gravitronix, is described on the company web site as an action game for up to eight players that uses a single-screen arena. Objects seen in the game's logo (pictured below) are fired as projectiles and behave differently depending on their own unique movement scheme.

"We're looking forward to introducing our own unique style to the gaming world with Gravitronix," said lead game designer Jesse Lowther. "We hope to offer a fun and accessible gaming experience which is easy to learn but a challenge to master, including a robust multiplayer mode with enough hidden depth to keep even the most hardcore of players struggling to outdo each other. The way we see it, if you don't swear when you lose to another player, we haven't done our job."

Brawl forum, and threw its hat into the development ring in 2006. The company has been working on a game series called Paranoia Saga since March.
The Nintendo WiiWare Channel, an online depository of small, independently-developed downloadable games for the console, is expected to go live in 2008.
