Capcom announces Okami for Nintendo Wii
Wow, wow, wow. According to Wiiz, Capcom (presumably at the E for All Expo currently being held at the Convention Center in Los Angeles) has reportedly announced that the fantastic Okami has been announced for the Nintendo Wii.
In Okami, players assume the role of the wolf-embodied sun god Amaterasu to set the world straight after the legendary monster Orochi has come back to life and turned it into a wasteland. The action-adventure title was originally released for the Sony PlayStation 2 last year to great a great critical reception, so perhaps the firm’s decision to bring it to Wii will be more fruitful.
One thing we do know is that the “Celestial Brush,” essential to ‘drawing’ strokes to complete puzzles and progress, would suit the Wii’s motion sensitive controls down to the ground.
