Nintendo Wii Online Play Confirmed for Dragon Ball Z; PS2 Version Gets Disc Fusion
In a press release issued by the company yesterday, Atari confirmed that the Nintendo Wii version of Dragon Ball Z: Budokai Tenkaichi 3 will feature head-to-head online play.
“Bringing online play to the Wii version of Dragon Ball Z: Budokai Tenkaichi 3 is a fantastically exciting innovation which has been long awaited by the fans and takes the gameplay to a whole new level,” said Mathieu Piau, Product Manager, Atari Europe. “The Disc Fusion system for PlayStation 2 gives an extra special bonus to the faithful fans who’ve followed the series from the start, and it all adds up to an absolutely unmissable Dragon Ball Z fighting experience.”
The Disc Fusion system featured in the PS2 version allows players to insert the game disc from either the first or second Dragon Ball Z: Budokai Tenkaichi titles, unlocking new gameplay modes.
