Just a quick question... my friend wants to know if you actually need to have the virtual console game in order to use the saves. I'm not an expert, can someone tell me? DELETE

so you're wondering if you have to buy the game to play it or if you just have to download te save, right?

you MUST buy te VC game in order to play a save for that game, the VC saves do NOT contain the game. that is a seperate file entirely. and before you ask

VIRTUAL CONSOLE GAME CANNOT BE TRANSFERED T ANOTHER WII AND STILL WORK!
