1. there will not be any DLC on wii for a LONG time
2. instead of DLC Rock Band will have "extra tracks" discs, the first one will cost approximately $29.99, $10 less than having to download each of the songs on it. I don't know much about what songs will be on it.
GH III will not have any DLC for wii either, but we are also receiving GH Aerosmith soon and GH IV is coming out after that, we also have Battle of the Bands for wii.
the wii does destroy Xbox360 in one area: controlls and controllers. the wii remote has a pointer (infrared sensor) and accelerometers (motion controls) as well as a Gyro sensor (turning) to be able to have the funtionality it does. it is also highly versatile, we have wii wheels for a fraction of the cost for an Xbox 360's wheel, we also have light gun peripherals. Xbox 360 doesn't have one gun peripheral. the Wii's remote is also versatile because it can be connected with a VC controller (for dual analog stick configs) a nunchuk (for a second accelerometer-based motion controller), or the wii guitar (for obvious reasons).
the wii also beats the Xbox in another aspect: price, wii's online, though not that good, for most titles is FREE, Xbox's is what? $15/month? plus download costs for DLC, wii's online only costs money for DLC (VC games/wiiware) the wii also had a lower starting price, wii: $250, 360 (original): $ 400 (I don't know for sure, but if I remember right it was $400) the wii is also less confusing, when buying the 360 you don't know which one to choose, original, elite, or premium (isn't it? I can't remember) with the wii there's just color options (or there will be) the wii also has better backwards compatibility, it can play ANY GC game, the 360 can only play certain original xbox games. the WIi also has N64, SNES, Sega Megadrive, Genesis, Turbografix 16, AND neo geo games for download, Xbox Live Arcade can't say that much.
