Sorry if this in the wrong place. I am new here.

Anyways, is it true that you can use a gamecube controller on the Wii. Will the controller work with all games? Also will all gamecube games work on the Wii? What's the difference of using a Gamecube controller than just buying the Wii classic remote? Sorry... I do not know much about the Wii... I just bought one yesterday.

The gamecube controller ONLY works on virtual consoles games though, NOT the Wii games.

Wii classic remote is for Wii games, gamecube controller is for virtual consoles games you downloaded to your Wii.
