For those of who want videos on their Wii but don't want to mod their Wii, I suggest Red Kawa's Wii Video Converter.

It takes a while to get used to, but it does work. I will gladly answer question that are within my power to answer. |

Actually, I have tried this already when i first got my Wii. I think the concept is to convert media formats to flash video and play it on the Wii, right?
Yah it worked, but the quality wasn't good enough....

It actaully coverts them into an MJPEG format, and that in turn is what you copy onto your SD card and put in your Wii. I think the quality is changeable if you go through the wizard. I do that all the time now. It is so easy. ALSO, you can download videos from youtube with it now and convert them...that is how I got that PS3 song, "How you killed your brand." On my Wii. |

ah, maybe the program i used was different. I think the one i used was convert them into flash video, and then use the pc as a server then host it, use the internet channel on wii, connect it to the pc and watch the video.
Something like that.

That was more then likely a different one. I like it personally as a way to just get youtube videos onto my own PC. VLC player plays just about everything.
