Thanko Wiimote Charger

Thanko Wiimote Charger

Wiimote chargers are an international rage these days, with models from American manufacturer Nyko, Europe based Thrustmaster, and now Japanese designer Thanko. The company's recently revealed Wiimote charging solution expands upon the functionality we've already seen by offering not only recharging cradles for two Wiimotes but space for a pair of Nunchucks and six game discs.

Though the product page doesn't respond terribly well to machine translation (unless leprosy is a hidden feature), we can extract that the Thanko station is powered by USB from the Wii and can recharge battery packs for 25-hours in 3.5-hours of charging time. We rather dig the design, which seems to organize both Wiimotes and Nunchucks more efficiently than what we've previously seen. The unit is available for 4980-yen, which translates to about $40-US, though getting one shipped stateside would probably cost a bit more.

I like the Nyko one better, I mean the Game disc holder and nunchuk slots would be awesome, but the charger's frequency (just chargers in general) mess up my Tv's reception and my wii is right under my TV so a USB charger is out of the question, and the next best thing to one is: Nyko's
