Mario Kart - Sound Effect Problem Player 2 and 4 only

I get no sound effects for players 2 and 4 on this game. I think it worked at one point but not sure when it stopped. It isn't specific to a controller. i have changed them around. It is very specific to 2 and 4. Any help would be great. Only problem is sound effects for 2 and 4.

you're talking about Mario Kart 64 for VC right?

try deleting the channel and redownloading it, the redownload is free
