wii wireless internet connection not working?

I have had a wii for about 30 days and this whole time i have never bin able to connect it to the internet. Can someone please show me a step-by-step guide? thanks :^)

you go to wii options and go to internet. then do search for connection. if it finds a wireless connection you probably will need the wep key code. get the code (you can find it on the wireless router) and it will connect to the internet. if you don't have wireless internet you can buy and adapter at a store like walmart.

i would recommend connecting at 802.11B. Nintendo doesn't specify if it's B/G speeds but when I first got it, the wii would not connect with my G only network. After a couple updates I tried turning back to G for giggles and now it works. I think they patched it so it works with G but out of the box it might be B only.
