Why wasn't Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare made for the Nintendo Wii?

I noticed that it was made for the Nintendo DS, but not the Wii. It makes no sense to me.

I guess that they just didn't want to do it. The game would need to be downgraded ALOT to make COD4 on the Wii play at full speed. I think they kinda made a classic version on the DS.
