Rock Band for Wii?

I would like to know if there is any talk about Rock Band being made for the Wii. I know it took until Guitar Hero 3 to get Guitar Hero on the Wii, but it would be awsome if Rock Band made it to the Wii sooner.

that would bhe awesome and im pretty sure its gonna happen because the wii (the top selling system right now) is the most popular of game systems and why would MTV games and harmonix (the company that made rock band) want not to put rock band on the wii they would probably make an extra 10 million in the first 2 months so its probably gonna come out for wii

Nope, wiis too much of a piece of crap. And I'm not saying that cause I'm pro-360/PS3. I own the wii. Get a PS2 cheap and get Rock Band for it.

When asked about the Wii back before the PS3 and 360 versions released, the head of the team said "Absolutely. We intend to make it for all major consoles".

Likely, it will be based on the upcoming PS2 build, and might be delayed compared to PS2 to figure out how to make the best used of the Wiimotes. But there's yet to be anything official.
