Well, what type of shirts do you ware? Maybe you're allergic to the the fabric, and when you get sweaty it reacts with your skin. Or maybe you set your Wii motes in something, and they make your arms itchy when you play.

if they ache it's probably because it's sore. Wii is kind of a relaxed workout. As for the redness and itchiness? I'd go see a doctor if it doesn't go away.

I suppose it is increased blood circulation...the ache is from overuse of muscles not normally used...have experienced it in baseball as well.

They ache because you are using muscles that you dont use at other times.
The red itchiness could be from sweating, try showering after you finish playing.

Exercise, release of lactic acid, just working those muscles out.

Good for you! Keep it up and you'll be buff in no time.

You play too fast. You don't need to be fast on boxing. Either the accelerometer in the wiimote is crap or the game doesn't make use of it.

A little poke works.

?? Unless you have been physically dormant for a decade and played wii boxing for 8 hours, I don't think that's what caused it. None of the materials should cause that type of reaction.

Maybe you should just let the other person win a few rounds and take it easy. ^_^

I mean-- maybe if your arms were sweating- and you played for a really long time? I don't know-- it's never happened to me.

It's nothing wrong, just streched your arm muscles.
It's going to be like that for 2-3 days only...after that you'll feel normal.
Same as first time in Gym/Running etc.

Try Baseball once you feel your arm back to normal!!!!!!!

Red, itchy little bumps or blotches which then become painful? Sounds like it could be hives, which are an allergic reaction which can be triggered by any number of factors: stress, tension, excessive exertion, sweating, etc.

The easiest way to determine whether it may be hives is to go to the drugstore and pick up some Benedryl. If the Benedryl relieves your symptoms, then it's probably hives. Caution though, Benedryl also can cause extreme drowsiness so be forewarned.
