Well they had some at retirement homes and the people loved them because they could get a little active without going outside, or doing something too hard for them. My neighbor who is 67 hates video games, and although she walks 3 miles everyday, she really thinks the Wii is fun.

My grandfather is 75 and he recently had open heart surgery. My grandmother bought him a wii and he loves it! He used to be able to go play rounds of golf but he cant really endure the walking and taking the 3 hours it takes to play in real life so now he plays golf on the wii. Not only does it help him exercise he has fun too!

Physical theapy rooms in nursing homes around here are starting to add them to their workouts. The nursing home I work at has already started this woth some of the residents. They seem to like it. The only comlpaint is of those who can not see very well with their glasses. Pyshical therapy is looking into putting a magnifying screen over the T.V. or investing in a bigger T.V. I own one and I think it's great. I'm looking to locate wii fit for mine as well. My entire family enjoys it.

I think they would proabably have a lot of fun with it. Older people aren't used to playing games that actually require movement. I think it would be something that they would really enjoy.
