I'd go for FIFA 08, I have it and the online is loads of fun and the controls are awesome once you get used to them.

Mysims is more of a kids version of the sims you'll probably be better off with Sims 2: Castaway.

if you're thinking of buying a wii you should out this site first. they give you a nintendo wii for FREE! all you need to do is complete a few quick tasks for them.

Personally i find sports games to have longer lasting appeal because you can pick up and play for short burst at any time, so I'd choose fifa 08, plus the multiplayer gives you and your friends something else to play once you get tired of wii sports.
