Does anyone know if you can Play the Wii Games on the Game Cube?And are they really Fazing Out Game Cube Games

The Nintendo Gamecube is MUCH OLDER than the Nintendo Wii.

The Wii is backwards compatible and can play Gamecube games, but if you want to play Wii games on a Gamecube, you are out of luck.

You cannot play Wii games on the GameCube. The GameCube isn't forward-compatable. (That isn't possible.) Also, the games just wouldn't fit.

And yes, they are phasing out GameCube games. They may have already started. They no longer make GameCube systems. Nintendo is focusing on their new system.

However, you can play GameCube games on the Wii.

No. a wii disc wouldnt fit in a gamecube. and the wii wasnt even invented when the gamecube came out, so then how in the world would they have a game for it!

You cannot play Wii games or use Wii controllers on the Gamecube.

You can play Gamecube games, use Gamecube controllers, and Gamecube memory cards on the Wii...
EXCEPT if the Gamecube games are from a different region, for example, you cannot play a Japanese Gamecube game on an American Wii system.

As for the Gamecube. There are NO new Gamecube games coming out in any region. Not in Japan, America or Europe.
You can get heavy discounted Gamecube games because stores want to faze out their inventory.

The wii has a more powerful processor and more memory than the GC, it would be technically impossible for a wii game to work on the GC even if the games could be made to fit, which they can't.

Also I'm pretty sure there are no more GC titles in development.
