My Wii freezes, any one else have this problem?

I bought a Wii a few weeks back and the system and everything works fine, but when you try to put a game in it freezes on the startup menu. Does this for both Wii Sports and Sonic & The Secret Rings, and even some Gamecube games. Does it everytime. Did I get a faulty Wii?

hmm...i've had my wii since it was released and never had it freeze on me.
probably is a faulty one.
try getting a new one if the warrenty still is up for the wii.

I think you got a faulty Wii. Mine freezes sometimes when I play Guitar Hero 3
