Wii Channel Questions?

I was wondering..Why doesnt the wii promote its games on the wii channel...Like tell you when games are coming out..and have demos...Just wondering..And will there be any more updates to the wii..like the one i got before on the photo channel...And i was curious what the internet channel is for 500 points in the shopping store on the wii...is it just for browsing the web..and is it worth the points??? Any help with these questions is appreciated Thanks

I don't believe there are any plans to offer demos of Wii games. The Wii doesn't have enough built in memory to hold many demos.

However, they are planning a channel called Everybody's Nintendo that will allow to see trailers of games for the Wii and DS, and it will allow you to download demos for DS games and transfer them to your DS. It has been out for a while in Japan, and it will be up for download in the US later this year.

As for the internet channel, it's only useful if you plan on using it. Also, I wouldn't bother if you don't have a compatible USB keyboard. (Typing with the Wii mote is not fun.)

I got it when it was free and I don't really use it that much. But it is only $5, so it isn't a big deal either way.

if you're thinking of buying a wii you should out this site first. they give you a nintendo wii for FREE! all you need to do is complete a few quick tasks for them.
