Why do you guys or fanboys hate the PS3 so much and not the Nintendo Wii or the xbox 360?

Give me your reasons why you hate the PS3 so much and you don't even want one.

Nintendo use their own money.....they have always been into gaming. Playstation are owned by Sony and Xbox by Microsoft so they had millions before they even launched.

I don't hate the PS3, I have a PS3 and I love it.

I don't know how anyone could hate the PS3, because nearly everyone that plays console games has had both a PS1 and PS2 or just one of them.

The people that hate the PS3 just can't afford it. I've heard people say that they hated the PS3 and now they own a PS3. I asked them why they hated the PS3 and they didn't even know why they did hate the PS3.

The PS3 rules and when those PS3 exclusives come out late this year, all eyes will be on the PS3.

Sony most likely wouldn't be in the video game business if Nintendo hadn't stabbed Sony in the back. It's not like Sony woke up one day and decided to make the PSX. Nintendo was the one that got Sony into the video game business. Nintendo and Sony had a deal where Sony would help make a CD drive for the SNES, but at the last moment, Nintendo stabbed Sony in the back and made a deal with Phillips. That left Sony with a CD drive that's worthless without the SNES, but Sony decided to learn what they've already learned and went ahead to make the Playstation. Nintendo wasn't done and tried to prevent Sony from using the Playstation name, but the courts ruled in Sony's favor. To get some measure of revenge, Sony got SquareEnix to make FFVII for the PSX, and the rest is history.

Fanboys hate the PS3 because Sony is the biggest threat to their system's success. The PSX dominated the N64. It wasn't even a close race. The PS2 dominated the XBX and GC, and again, it wasn't even a close race. The PS3 will dominate again. It's just a matter of time. The PS3 may not dominate this year, but at the end of this year, the gap should be a lot closer, and by 2009, the PS3 should pull away.

Other people hate the PS3 because it's too expensive. It's like the fox and the grapes. Just because they can't hate it, it must be a bad system. If the PS3 takes another 100 buck price drop, they would buy it in a heartbeat.

Some people hate the PS3 because of the lack of games.

Some people hate the PS3 because of the Blu-ray technology. They think that Sony is trying to drive people to Blu-ray by including it in every PS3.

I don't hate the PS3, I think it is plenty powerful. BUT I am pro-HDDVD and I think the PS3 should be redesigned because I think it looks FUGLY. As always, the pricing is too high because I'm poor like that and I don't get the whole Hard Drive thing. WTH is a Hard Drive for? Do saves really require soo many gigs? I want a gaming machine just for gaming, I have 3 DVD players, 1 HD widescreen with Surround Sound, 2 computers and 1 laptop to watch movies with. Really the only thing giving PS3 its power is it's Cell chip, is that worth the price of a PS3? Then theres Blu-Ray. With such MASSIVE size capabilities wouldn't that be really difficult to fill? Imagine the cost and time of making a PS3 game from scratch. Or you could just not fill the space with content, but that leads to crappy game. + Wii development kit is very much like the Gamecube kit so development is easier. And I have $200 to spend. 1 final point. Sony doesn't need the extra money, they deal in televisions, screens, computers, mp3, cameras, camcorders, movies, music, and GPS systems. Nintendo just has its Wii to play with.

Thats not exactly true coz I own all 3 next-gen consoles and I love my PS3. I think it has the most potential to be better then the other systems and so far it is only being beat because of its games problem. The failure rates say it all.

Playstation 3 - 0.2%
Nintendo Wii - 12%
Xbox 360 - 34%

And as someone pointed out before people become aggressive towards other systems because they dont have it or they cant afford it.
