so.. after a couple years... who is winning the console wars? PS,Xbox,Wii, etc?

i personally own a 360 which i bought, honestly, because I love the entire halo trilogy. Up to now though, I really don't know who would be considered winning overall. I like the concept of the PS3 but can't justify buying one yet. Honestly, so far, i think the only reason I'd buy the ps3 was for the Square-Enix games and Unreal Tournaments. The wii.... well.... i really don't know much of it.
So, who is winning in your opinion??? Why?? What games do you like best on the console?

As far as sales go, Wii is winning, with the 360 not far behind, and PS3 trailing far behind.

It's the Wii. Why? "Everyone" wants one and it keeps getting sold out in stores. I used the quotation marks to indicate that those who want a Wii are those in family households.

360: 17 Million Units World Wide (1 year head start over the other two) (as of 01/08)
Wii: 13.17 Million Units Worls Wide (as of 9/07)
PS3: 5.59 Million Units World Wide (as of 9/07)

Of important note is that the Wii is still sold out and units are selling as fast as they arrive in stores whereas you can find several 360s and PS3s on the shelf gathering dust. Also, the sales figures for the Wii and PS3 have not been updated for the Christmas shopping season.

Also, the Wii has far outsold the other two in the US.

Ok let me start out by saying that its kind of difficult to say who is winning because each system ahd different reasons to be an awesome system. The PS3 has blu-ray and it is an amazingly powerful system, unfortunately it is very expensive and does not have an impressive library of games. The Wii has very inventive controls and games and is selling so many because there is a lot of hype and its cheap but i do believe that the Wii's popularity will die down. The 360 is by far th ebest system out right now because of a few things. It has tons of games that are accesible to many people. The system is fairly priced and the Live feature is unrivaled by any system. In the long run i do beleive microsoft will end up on time but sony has the potential to take the gaming world over again like when the PS2 first came out. Im just hoping we dont have another dreamcast on our hands.
