Sorry but i think wiis suck the games are for little kiddies there is nota single "mature" game theres no violence its way to easy and the gaphics suck and the playstaion 2 is older but its still better i used to have a ps2 but i got an x box 360 now its the best ... it has amazing graphics, games are chalenging you can play online with friends and the game selection is much better

Not at all for me, but that was because my mum got it for me pretty much as soon as it was released (lucky me hey?) and for then there wasn't a shortage, but it seems they are getting really hard to get at the moment. Should be easier to get one soon, prob when the next "new thing" comes out and there is a whole craze for them.
If you are having trouble finding them, I would search on google...i don't know something like "Nintendo Wii's for sale in ??? (???=wherever you live)" I'm sure it will come up with a few results...both from game stores and people selling them.

It was a long cold night camped outside Target on the night before the release date. We had to curl up in blankets and lawn chairs for hours all through the night.

On the bright side though the people in line with us were AWESOME. Everyone was incredibly nice. There were lots of Mario Kart matches on various DS's going when we arrived.

After a few hours of freezing boredom the group of us decided to go rent a generator from Home Depot. The other folks in line sent people to go get tv's and game systems. We literally had two tv's an xbox 360 and a ps2 with Guitar Hero parked outside with us. Everyone played even though it was cold enough to freeze your fingers numb after one song.

Once midnight arrived one of the guys waiting with us went to pick up the Wii he had preordered at a game store. He returned to the line with it so all of us could play with a Wii while we waited to get ours the following morning.

So yeah it was incredibly cold and a lawn chair hurts your butt after a few hours, but the amazing people there with us made it relatively easy to wait through getting a Wii.

Yes it was. I was supposed to get one for Christmas last year but I ended up getting one in Feburary last year.
