If I buy the Wii USB wireless adapter and plug it in my cpu, will it work online? All I have is dialup. Thanks

All I have is dial-up, so will the USB wireless adadpter even do anything if I plug it in to my cpu? Or do I need to have some sort of high speed internet to begin with? ANY help would be appreciated...

WII has wireless adapter built-in. You need wireless router - which to my best knowledge will not work well with dial-up service.
And even if you are sucessful, the dial speeds are not enought for anything you would do with WII - i.e. download files or play online.

Sorry! Dial-up does not work with Wii. If you are in a rural area, buy a Wild-Blue high speed internet satellite system. 200 dollar instillation and lowest package is 49.99! If you are in the city, get high speed through cable co.

HI
The wii comes with built in wifi so the Lan adaptor that is sold is for use with a wired internet connection. It will connect to the internet and if you can live with the slow speed of dial up that's fine.
You will not be able to play online (dial up is too slow and you would get booted off there isn't that much of a draw for online games for me personally). You can however download games for the Virtual Console(very slowly)/update firmware(very slowly)/ weather/ news/and some other channels that did not come with the original system like check mii out and everyvotes.
Hope this helps
