I wouldnt doubt it. Most popular wii games do need it

yes mario party 8 is action games, usually for the action games you must have nunchuck and controller. my guess is 99% using controller and nunchuck. i play zelda and i need both and zelda is action game.

no u dont need the nunchuck because in the game none of them require a nunchuck

No, there is only one game that requires a nunchuck, and that's in the extras. Over all, it's not nessasary becuase you don't play it in the nomal game. I have it and it is Awsome!!!!! :-)
