Just a quick question! As the save games i get here are already in .BIN files. DOes anyone know how to get .wii files? I dont wanna download an entire save game which has the game finished, but rather i want to have like say max stars for RE:UC. Do i simply change the .wii to .bin?

I also assume there is no way in opening the .bin file and copying information from save A to save B (my own save)?

.wii file? there is no such thing to my knowledge.

saves are organized in this manner

<SD card>/private/wii/title/<game code>/data.bin

this is when the saves are moved to an SD card of course

this is true for all games, no game is saved in .wii format.

so for Resident evil Umbrella cronicles you would go to your SD card on your PC and make a new folder (if it doesn't already exist, called private, then you'd go into it and make a new folder called wii, after that you'd make a new folder inside the wii folder called title, once that's done you'd make another folder inside the title folder called RBUE (this is RE:UC's gamecode) inside that folder you would copy/move the data.bin file that is the save for Umbrella chronicles. tere is no .wii save file format.

strange, wonder how the hell you use the files from gamefaqs.com. i know how to put the saves in my wii, but im just wondering if theres a way ti put my own save game into a downloaded save game. itd be nice to a have file with everything along with my own progress

the only way TAT is possible is to give someone your save then the other person can do things you have trouble with. then they give the save back

hmm I use action replay but when I download it to my computer it says wii file the bad thing is that you cant download this file to the wii.
