Wii Game Save w/o having Game

Can you save a wii game save file onto your wii without having the game or without having played the game on your wii?
(I wnt to save a super mario galaxy save onto my wii so i can unlock rosalina in mario kart wii.)

Sorry, just tried. It says you have to first play the game to copy it. Atleast that's what I got when I tried it..oh well

Maybe you can rent the game, then use the game save.... save some $ on buying the game.

true, too bad I didn't know you could play/unlock secret charecters if you had a save for a certain game.. I would've kept my Mario Galaxy save lol
