The saves have been ripped with Action Replay or Mod Chip.

The saves cannot be copied by ordinary means. This implied that they couldn't be copied FROM an SD card. But it can be copied FROM an SD card, it just cant be copied TO an SD card by ordinary means.

Well, actually you can rip them from the Wii using the Twilight Exploit. Just using something called "SaveGame-Extractor" can get the files from your Wii. Also, a person on another forum is working on a Save File Region Converter, so you could use a PAL save soon, hopefully. Again, nothing I said here works 100%, so don't try.

Edit 2: I could edit the game save data to let you copy it to an SD Card. Then all someone needs to do is delete Jay FNG's profile and create a new one. But, thats only if someone wants to do it, as I suck at MKW.

As a result, the saves are not going to work.

It would appear that the save floating around is a PowerSave. It works... for offline game play. There is some ambiguity over whether it works properly for WFC gameplay.

Looking for someone to clarify...

i used jay's power save online and it d/c's me everytime do you self a favor everyone just unlock everything youself... if you plan to play online that is.

Why is this stickied when it should be deleted? The save posted in this forum works fine. This is out-dated speculation at best.

Can we have this thread deleted, or at the very least- unstickied?

This isn't 'speculation'.

I'm just trying to say that these saves cannot be copied TO an SD card. And because of that, it would imply that they can't be copied FROM an SD card. I didn't want to try this myself in a risk of killing my Wii.

A friend of mine tried it, and his Wii bricked.

I will rephrase the first post if it will make everyone shut up about it.
