Ok... so will someone else please try this and check their friend ID to make sure that this is WFC compatible for sure?

It gave me the new ID 4897 6362 6182. What has it given to other people?

It did reset my WFC vs and battle scores to 5000 each, which I thought was a good sign.

EDIT 2 HOURS LATER: I Keep getting disconnected from WFC. Is anyone else who has tried this for at least a couple of hours had this prolem?

Hey,

I tried the save and WFC works fine for me at least. Also, I have the same exact friend code as you. This release is not mine and it is from "justin" which is really from CodeJunkie's Action Replay MAX. This is the only release currently available and posted it once I found it. Sorry to disappoint you on your attempt on WFC.

No problem.. I knew that being the guinea pig was a risk. I still think people should post them so that we can test them out.

It occasionally lets me play online, but has started kicking me out of games.

I kept getting kicked off the other day also. So i typed in the error code it gave me at the nintedo website and it said it was because there were too many people on wifi that day and it made the service all cruddy. so dont worry about the friend code.

If you use this and then decide you want to play online, does simply deleting the savegame file and starting a new one work to let you play online again?

To play online, you can use the license but you may occasionally get disconnected because the friend code is being shared with multiple people. If you want to have your own friend code, all you need to do is create a new license.

But you have to start all over by unlocking characters.

That is the "con" about this save. The friend code is locked-in. All we can do, is hope for a new save released by the Code Junkies which doesn't have a friend code.

that's fine with me as long as I can just delete the save game file when I decide to play online.

You don't really seem to have to delete the 'cheat' license to play online, you just have to start another character in one of the other three of the four total save spots (or 'licenses'). I did that and haven't had any WFC problems yet.

I started a new character in the slot below the unlocked 'cheat' license, and my ID for that new license on the bottom left became 1805-3465-1717. Another character I had made came up as 4897-6362-6182... Has anyone else created other licenses and could you compare them to my numbers to make sure we're not getting duplicates on those too?

You won't actually need to delete the entire save game file. All you really need to do is create a license in a blank slot.

On a side note, have you watched one of the replays of Jay "FNG"'s ghost? He just sits there forever and then finishes and ends up with an impossibly short time trial time! Gotta figure out that trick.
